Registration must be complete one week prior to the first day of attendance in class. First payment of class fees must be made no later than the second week of class. Failure to do so will result in the refusal to attend class. Bilingual Acting Workshop reserves the right to refuse entry to any student whose fees have not been paid.
Participants may pay in full by cash, by bank transfer, or credit card online through PayPal, Stripe, or by check. Students wishing to make monthly payments may do so either with credit card online through PayPal, or by paying with a series of post-dated checks, dividing the total fee for the class by the months attended. All the checks for the entire semester will be collected in advance of the first day of class during registration.
There is a 30-day notice required for any cancellation of weekly courses.
In addition to the class fee, students are required to pay an annual registration fee of 30€ and in some cases a production fee of 100€ per semester for filming and editing costs.
A student who misses a class may be permitted to attend and observe a session of another class without an extra charge, under certain conditions including, but not limited to, the following: 1) the student's absence must be indicated to the regular teacher at least 24 hours in advance; 2) classes of substitution may only be attended on specific dates, to be determined by the teacher of each class; and 3) no more than two substitutions will be permitted during a semester.
Students interesting in observing a class are allowed to audit said class with the consent of the instructor, a completed registration form and a payment of 30€.
A penalty fee of twenty percent the total tuition cost will be applicable to late tuition payments starting on three months to the date of signed registration.
Please note: All registration and production fees and class payments are non-refundable after the first week of classes. Non-attendance of any class for any reason does not provide you with the right to a refund, extra tuition, or transfer to another class.
Course participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally. If a participant becomes persistently disruptive to the functionality of a class or workshop, Bilingual Acting Workshop reserves the right to offer a verbal warning, and if this does not resolve the situation, to ask the participant to permanently leave the course. No refund or recompense of any kind will be payable in the event that a student is expelled from our courses due to his or her behavior.
By signing this agreement, you give permission for any photos and/or videos taken of you during classes and/or performances to be used in BAW's marketing materials and on its website.
