with Alexa ROSEWOOD & AnneMarie FLorent-NEErings
December 1st & December 2nd (Saturday & Sunday) 6:00-10:30pm
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This 2-day workshop focuses on preparing monologues for auditions, especially for the highly competitive British training programs and conservatories, a must for breaking into the British film and television industries.
The workshop will begin with an in-depth physical warm-up led by movement and pilates teacher Annemarie Florent-Neerings. The physical work will prepare the participants for the character work. Alexa, a graduate of the Drama Centre London, will then transform performances with the help of object excercises to develop characterization. Participants will walk away with polished monologues and tools to help conquer the next casting or audition.
No experience is required. If interested in registering for the workshop, please send CV/bio or resume and any links to work if available to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please prepare a memorized monologue for this workshop.
The price of the workshop is 147€
*Annual registration fee (30€) is not included in price. The registration fee covers office expenses and insurance and is paid once in the school year.
