November 7th, 8th & 9th (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) 10:00am-12:45pm
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The class I wish I would have had when I first started. This class will take place like an actual audition. Material will be sent to you through email with or without ANY background of the character or world of the piece. It is your job to figure out the scene, the whys, what you want and then perform it for me as an actual audition. There will then be direction given and a “call back” to work on this again.
Remember this audition starts from the moment you walk in the room the the moment you leave so EVERYTHiNG, not ONlY the work will be judged. This class will focus on your preparation of the work, how YOU made it your own, your ability to change once given direction and all you bring into the room. I will give you all my insight into how I’ve navigated auditions for 20+ years how I won some and lost some and why.
In the end you will be critiqued as to why you did or did not get the job. Some answers will certainly surprise you.
