BAW Alumna Julie Delaurenti is assistant director of John Patrick Shanley’s “The Storefront Church” at the Atlantic Theater

Former BAW student Julie Delauranti (having studied in New York with Amy Werba) is the assistant director of John Patrick Shanley’s upcoming play, “The Storefront Church.” Previously she performed as an actress for the BAW Performance Lab’s production of one of Mr. Shanley’s plays, “The Big Funk” directed by Sei Shiomi (who taught Julie in Paris). “The Storefront Church” is the last play of his trilogy (“Doubt”, “Defiance” and “The Storefront Church”) and is produced by the Atlantic Theater Company.

The opening night of the show will be on the 11th of June at the Atlantic Theater after two months of rehearsals and previews.
