He fully immersed himself in the film industry and quickly landed his first job in Paris.  Some of his credits include Rush Hour 3, Truth in 24 (Audi Le Mans racing Doc), Exes, and the Cherry Orchard. Clarence has also worked as an Assistant Director with the theatre company Theatre en Anglais and does voice-over work in Paris.  Along with his duties as teacher of the BAW Teen and Youth Acting courses, he is the director of children and teen camps in France.  When he's not teaching, Clarence continues to work professionally in film and theatre production in and around Paris. Clarence has a strong love for creating and collaboration. He wishes to continue exploring his craft and growing as an artist and person.

Student Testimonials

"My daughter enjoyed every class she attended with Clarance Tokley. Clarence is not only a professional and talented acting instructor, he has a gift for teaching. His students clearly respect him and enjoy learning from the real life experiences he shares as an actor.  I highly recommend Clarence Tokley as an acting instructor!" —Dana Hunt (Teen Workshop) "I had such a wonderful time at the Teenage workshop taught by Clarence! I looked forward to each class at the beginning of each week and was able to learn so much about acting in front of a camera. Clarence not only taught us amazing acting techniques but supported us and inspired confidence. An exceptional class!" "What I like about Clarence's class is that he makes us do exercises that seem silly and strange at times, but they actually really help our acting. He makes us work hard but it helps us see "new horizons" about acting and ourselves. And a big bonus—working in front of and behind the camera that is my favorite part! That's why it is my 3rd year that I will be taking the class." —Morgane (Teen Workshop) "I just want to thank you for four amazing years in your wednesday afternoon class. It has always been the highlight of my week - you led me to discover the world of acting in a really fun and engaging way. Your creativity seems endless to me and your eagerness and fun loving attitude was always contagious. I have come out of this class more confident and with a strong desire to further pursue acting. Thanks again for everything!" —Jonahan T. "A great place in Paris for English-speaking teens to learn about acting in a friendly and fun environment."
